Inspired by the enduring form of the traditional Sathlada, Indian Zevar presents its own interpretation of the seven-strand pearl necklace.

Seven layers of antique-look freshwater pearls come together beneath handcrafted 925 silver terminals, finished in premium gold polish. At the centre of the design are Moissanite Dank Work Polki panels, created to bring structure and character to the flowing pearl strands.

The reverse of each Polki terminal is finished with a fine silver net-work layer. This additional construction is designed to protect and support the Dank Work while keeping the back as considered as the front.

The design takes inspiration from an archival Deccan pearl necklace while remaining an original Indian Zevar creation, using freshwater pearls and contemporary gemstone choices rather than reproducing the original materials.

Made for those who appreciate the scale of a traditional Sathlada, the character of natural pearls and the detail of handcrafted silver work.

What Makes It Special

The Seven-Strand Sathlada is an original Indian Zevar interpretation of the traditional seven-strand pearl necklace.

Its seven layers of antique-look freshwater pearls are supported by handcrafted 925 silver terminals finished in premium gold polish. At the centre, Moissanite Dank Work Polki panels give the flowing pearl strands structure and a distinctive visual character.

Particular attention has also been given to the reverse of the Polki terminals. Each panel is finished with a fine silver net-work layer, providing additional support and protection to the Dank Work while maintaining the same considered approach to the construction of the piece.

The design draws inspiration from an archival Deccan pearl necklace, while remaining an original Indian Zevar creation rather than a reproduction.
